Biography

I am a passionate technology enthusiast with a strong foundation in problem-solving and analytical thinking. I developed an early interest in how technology shapes our daily lives and transforms communities. My journey into tech began during my undergraduate studies where I discovered my love for embedded systems, programming and software development.

Prior to joining ALT School, I worked on several personal projects that helped me understand the fundamentals of embedded systems and web development. I have experience with various programming languages including C++, Python, JavaScript and HTML/CSS. My background also includes collaborating on open-source projects and participating in local tech meetups where I've learned from experienced engineers.

I believe in the power of continuous learning and the importance of building practical skills that can make a real difference in the world. My interests extend beyond coding to include system architecture, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Why I Joined ALT School

I chose to join ALT School's School of Engineering because of its reputation for producing excellent software engineers through practical, hands-on learning. The program's focus on real-world projects and industry-relevant skills aligns perfectly with my career aspirations.

Goals for the School of Engineering Program

During the Program:

• Master backend-end development with modern frameworks and technologies
• Build a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrate my technical skills
• Develop proficiency in software engineering best practices
• Collaborate effectively with peers on team projects and learn from their diverse perspectives
• Contribute to open-source projects and give back to the developer community

Long-term Goals:

• Secure a position as a software engineer at a tech company, either locally or internationally
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior developers
• Start my own startup focused on solving problems in the Nnigerian and African market
• Give back to the community by teaching and mentoring the next generation of engineers
• Maintain a growth mindset and embrace continuous learning throughout my career
• Build a strong professional network within the global tech community
